Our live online CPO training helps pool operators prepare for Certified Pool Operator certification with two-day instruction focused on safe, healthy pool operations.
You will learn pool water chemistry, water filtration, recreational water illnesses, spa maintenance, chemical dosing, breakpoint chlorination, and methods to keep employees and patrons of swimming pools safe and healthy.
- To become certified, you must attend all class days to be seated to take and pass the open-book online exam.
- Class is from 11 AM to 8 PM Eastern Time on both days. Online Test Proctored on the second day online from 4 pm to 7 pm Eastern time
- For online classes, students must have a calculator, highlighter, book, paper, and photo ID.
- Tuition includes the most current CPO® Handbook and all supplemental class material.
What This CPO Course Covers
This two-day course covers essential topics for pool operators, aquatic facility staff, hotel pool managers, HOA pool managers, and property managers responsible for safe pool operations. Students review water chemistry, filtration, circulation, recreational water illness prevention, chemical dosing, spa maintenance, recordkeeping, and operational best practices.
The course is designed to help students understand practical pool operation concepts and prepare for the open-book online certification exam. Class materials include the current CPO Handbook and supplemental training resources. Additional pool operator books and supplemental materials are available in the Bookstore.
